Policy Notice

Date: November 16, 2009

Please note the following changes, effective April 1, 2010:

  1. The Fire Protection Standard comes into effect.

  2. The Policy on Management of Real Property will be amended to include the following requirement:

    6.1.17 A senior official is designated as Departmental Fire Protection Coordinator (DFPC) to oversee implementation of the Fire Protection Standard.

  3. The Policy on Fire Protection, Investigation and Reporting will be rescinded.
