Figure 1 shows the increase in federal infrastructure support for provincial, territorial and municipal infrastructure, starting from 2003-2004 to 2010-2011.
Over the years federal infrastructure support for provincial, territorial and municipal infrastructure have continued to rise.
From 2003-04 to 2004-05 it went from over $500 million to almost $2 billion.
From 2004-05 to 2005-06 it continued to rise to $3 billion.
From 2005-06 to 2008-09 it continued to rise to just about $4 billion.
From 2008-09 to 2009-10 it went up to just about $6 billion.
And from 2009-10 to 2010-11 it went up to approximately $8.5 billion.
