Additional Information

The on site building has been demolished and the contamination excavated to achieve a clean site. The excavation was backfilled and a trailer moved onto a new foundation over the former building location. 285.23 tonnes pf petroleum impacted soil and 17,000L (16.97 tonnes) of petroleum impacted water were removed through remedial activities in 2011-12. Confirmatory samples collected from perimeter of the remedial excavation were below applicable guidelines. The site continues to be used as an RCMP Detachment.
