Additional Information
In 2007 a hydrocarbon sheen and odour were noted in surface water in a ditch along the property. Samples collected at that time indicated the presence of petroleum hydrocarbons in the surface water. When the site was visited for further testing (2009) it was observed that extensive landscaping had occurred and the potential contaminant sources had been removed. No hydrocarbon sheen or odour were noted in the ditch at this time. Soil samples collected and analyzed for PHC, BTEX and PAH’s indicated that all parameters were below applicable criteria. No further work is required at this site.
