Soil excavation and off-site disposal completed. Groundwater monitoring completed. No further action required.

Additional Information

Overfilling of fuel oil underground storage tank in 1985 resulted in soil contamination. Two underground storage tanks were removed in 1993. Residual contamination remained. Then soil was excavated and disposed off-site. Groundwater monitoring until fiscal year 06/07. Decommissioned 3 monitoring wells in 2006/07. Fiscal year 07/08 sample monitoring well - 2 and if results are within guidelines will provide disclosure report and decommission well. Suspected decrease in detected petroleum hydrocarbons (PHC) concentration for monitoring well - 2. Water sampling of monitoring well -2 continue for fiscal year 07/08. During 07/08 the building was demolished. No further action required.
