Additional Information

The 1995 EBS identified that the concentration of petroleum hydrocarbons at the site exceeds selected remediation criteria but did not pose a risk to human health or wildlife. In 1996, a sample was collected by the GNWT. This sample reported elevated concentrations of benzene and toluene. In 1999 no sample was collected from YCB-04 as the bailer was frozen in groundwater at the bottom of the well.
